Red Swamp Crayfish Invasions in Michigan

This species was first confirmed in Michigan in 2017.  We are working with the Michigan DNR to develop strategies for controlling their populations.

Great Lakes Predatory
Fish Diets

Diets offer critical insight into trophic interactions that support fisheries.  Our study seeks to determine how predatory fishes in lakes Michigan and Huron are coping in an era of low prey abundances in these lakes.
